Freedom Mobile wants to hear from Strathroy residents as they work to enhance and expand its network infrastructure.
Freedom Mobile Inc., invites you to submit comments and questions regarding a new proposed mobile base station tower site at 370 Albert Street, behind the laundromat plaza. The proposed new site aims to improve coverage, data transfer speeds, and network capacity in the Strathroy area and its surroundings.
A new tower is necessary as there is no existing infrastructure that meets the needs in this location. The tower will be situated on private property approximately 156 meters southwest of the intersection of Ellen Street and Albert Street. Specifically, the tower will be positioned along the western boundary of the property, about 10 meters from Ellen Street and 156 meters south of Albert Street.
Plans are to install a 40-meter self-supporting triple tower, including the tower, antenna equipment, and a radio-equipment cabinet within a 15-meter by 15-meter fenced area.
