The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation that comes our way Monday will be marked a bit early at the Economy Shop-St. Vincent de Paul store in Strathroy this weekend. We talked with Operations Manager Julie Clements.
Derrick Satler is a member of the Ojibwe First Nation north of Wiarton and he’ll share his experiences of the effects of intergeneration trauma, lost language, culture and traditions. Clements tells us about their special speaker.
myFM will be on location for the event that starts at 11am and runs til 2pm this Saturday.
