Really good news this week for those heading up a venture to bring a hospice to Strathroy. The Strathroy Hospice Board announced recently that Strathroy Hospice is now a registered charity and is officially accepting donations to support its mission of delivering compassionate care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the Strathroy-Caradoc community.
myFM talked to Chairman of the Board Dr. Tyler Damen who says this has been a long time coming.
Damen says the mission moving forward is pretty simple.
He says as a non-profit organization, Strathroy Hospice depends on the generosity of donors to bring its vision to life, as every dollar raised strengthens the organization’s ability to expand services, enhance care, and improve the quality of life for those they serve.
This week on Minute with the Mayor, Strathroy-Caradoc Mayor Colin Grantham spoke to this news.
Damen says they are now actively accepting donations.
