Post-secondary students looking for a summer job would be wise to check out the first-ever Local Municipal Job Fair. Originally scheduled for February 13th at the Healthy Planet Arena, the fair has been postponed due to the weather conditions and rescheduled for Thursday, February 27th.
Hosted by Peterborough County in collaboration with the City of Peterborough, Selwyn Township and Trent Lakes, the 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. event will provide the opportunity to speak directly with hiring managers about a variety of seasonal job opportunities.
County People Services Advisor Sammi Blanchard lists some of the positions looking to be filled.
Blanchard outlines what job fair attendees can expect.
With this being the first event of its kind, Blanchard says it’s anyone’s guess how busy it will be.
