
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Strathroy, Komoka, and Western Middlesex County. Environment Canada says the storm, tracked just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, could bring strong winds, heavy rain, and hail as large as nickels.
The storm may cause damage to property and could be dangerous. People in the area are being warned to take cover right away if the weather looks threatening.
Lightning is also a serious risk. Officials remind everyone that when you hear thunder, you should head indoors immediately.
