With the long weekend comes fireworks, and we wanted to make sure everyone knows about the Strathroy-Caradoc bylaw and some safety tips. Jason Chabot is the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Prevention Officer and tells myFM when fireworks can be set off.
And be careful with your fireworks purchase.
Some of the most important safety tips include reading fireworks instructions carefully, setting up in a clear, open space, wearing gloves and safety glasses and making sure spectators are a safe distance away.
