Middlesex-London MP Lianne Rood, like all MP’s, had the chance to meet King Charles and Queen Camilla Tuesday, as the King presented the Speech from the Throne.
Rood tells myFM it was something pretty special.
As for the speech itself, Rood wasn’t as impressed.
Other issues stood out for Rood as well.
Rood says they would have liked to see a promise of an upcoming budget, which might provide more details.
Rood says that’s very unfortunate, since it’s Canada’s most important export industry and the life blood of entire provinces.
