On June 2nd just before 1pm, emergency responders were dispatched to a serious single-vehicle collision on Pratt Siding Road in Southwest Middlesex. Preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle left the roadway, collided with a tree, and subsequently caught fire. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Pratt Siding Road was closed between Longwoods Road and McMurchy Line for approximately five hours while police conducted their investigation. The roadway has since reopened. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
