To celebrate 225 years of history, Middlesex County is giving away free spruce saplings to residents as a symbol of its strong roots and bright future.
In partnership with Greenhouse Academy, the County is offering 225 spruce trees for pickup on Friday, June 27th. The tree giveaway will be held at two local libraries: the Ailsa Craig Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Parkhill Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trees will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
This special event gives residents the chance to take home a living piece of the County’s legacy. Whether planted in a yard, beside a fence, or in a public green space, each sapling will grow as a reminder of Middlesex County’s long-standing roots and its commitment to a greener future.
