UPDATE:
Strathroy-Caradoc Police with support from the OPP and Sarnia Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Friday, June 27, 2025. Around 5pm, Police responded to a medical emergency on Ashby Crescent, where officers found a man with stab wounds.
Despite first responders’ efforts, 27-year-old Endy Moniz of Strathroy was pronounced dead at the scene. 27-year-old Joel Peralta Del Valle of Strathroy, has been charged with first-degree murder. He remains in custody. Police confirm there is no threat to public safety, and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
