Here’s what’s going on in Strathroy-Caradoc over the next 48 hours.
TODAY: Tuesday, July 8, families with young children can visit Strathroy from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the tykeTALK Drop-In, where a Speech Language Pathologist from Thames Valley Children’s Centre will be on hand to answer questions and share ideas to help build early language skills through play.
TODAY: Also from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., there will be Play & Learn programs in both Ilderton and Strathroy. These free, drop-in sessions are open to families with children ages 0 to 6.
TODAY: From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., kids ages 7 to 11 can visit Mount Brydges to paint and decorate their own wings for dress-up and imaginative play during Flutter Wings. This event is also on a waitlist.
TOMORROW: On Wednesday, July 9, families with young children can take part in Play & Learn programs running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in both Mount Brydges and Parkhill. These are free, drop-in sessions open to families with children aged 0 to 6.
TOMORROW: In Strathroy, children and families can drop by the Reading Garden Riot from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where they’ll be able to make bubble wands, add art to a chalk collage, and create nature crafts. If it rains, the activities will be moved indoors.
TOMORROW: Adults can visit the Komoka Library at 10:30 a.m. for Komoka Koffee House, which features friendly discussions on current events along with snacks and refreshments.
