The new traffic signals at the intersection of Melbourne Road and Glendon Drive are expected to be operational this morning. We caught up with County Engineer Chris Traini on Thursday.
Traini reminds us why they decided on going with traffic signals.
Traini reminds people to be extra cautious as drivers get used to the change.
Also be careful of the police officers expected to be on site. Traini says there’s also still a bit of work to be done in the area.
The intersection has seen many collisions, some fatal, over the years prompting the installment of the traffic signals.
