Middlesex County is about halfway through its rural cycling strategy, a plan to make riding out on county roads safer and more attractive to cyclists. County Engineer Chris Traini tells myFM more about the huge investment.
Traini says this is a long process, but ultimately a great one for cyclists.
There are other benefits as well.
We asked Traini which local roads we’re seeing the shoulders add to.
Traini says the county is looking at several initiatives to assist vulnerable road users and that also includes the implementation of pedestrian crossings.
