The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department has updated the burn ban…to now allow for recreational fires.
The fire department says small recreational fires are now permitted, due to the prolonged rain and improvement in air quality. Fires should not be left unattended and should be completely extinguished at the end of the evening.
Strathroy-Caradoc will continue the Open Burn Ban for brush piles until further notice.
