Another successful myFM AKKO Cement Finishers All Hands on Deck Back to School Food Drive took place in Strathroy-Caradoc and surrounding area Thursday. Thousands of pounds of food was collected, along with a ton of back to school supplies and thousands of dollars in monetary donations and gift cards. Everything was dropped off to our food bank recipients Thursday night, and they were thrilled. So much thanks goes to our truck sponsors for helping us get it there and our other incredible sponsors as well as volunteers who were on site, some of them for all 8 hours of the food drive.
General Manager David McAllan says these donations went to multiple spots this year.
McAllan added an event like this simply cannot be successful without help.
