Police have laid charges after an arson and threats investigation in Alvinston. OPP say on August 23rd, just after 5:00 p.m., Police and Fire were called to a house fire on Morrell Street. The fire was put out, and no one was hurt. Two days later, on August 25 around 1:00 a.m., police say two people went to the same property, leading to a disturbance with a resident. As a result, a 63-year-old of Brooke-Alvinston has been charged with arson causing damage to property and uttering threats to damage property.
