This past Saturday morning, Southwest Middlesex Animal Shelter found eight newborn puppies left in a taped-up box inside their Amazon delivery container at the end of the driveway in Glencoe. They’re now safe, and the shelter has been bottle-feeding them every two hours, around the clock.
The shelter did send a message to the person who left the puppies saying that they know it may not have been an easy decision. They only wish some communication would have been left with them. The shelter hopes with love, time, and support from the community, they are hopeful these puppies will grow strong and eventually find the safe, happy homes they deserve.
