Released late last week and as part of its plan to protect Ontario and keep communities safe, the Ontario government is investing $32 million to expand access to specialized mental health services for first responders and public safety personnel.
Multiple organizations and municipalities across the province, and their emergency health, fire and police services are receiving funding through the 2025-26 Mental Health Supports for Public Safety Personnel (MHS4PSP) program including $25,000 to the municipalities of North Middlesex and Thames Centre along with the counties of Middlesex and Lambton.
