myFM is looking back at 2025 with the people in our community who were making news. Among them, the President and CEO of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance, overseeing the hospitals in Strathroy and Newbury. We asked Julie McBrien about a highlight from this year.
McBrien says the MRI is now running 16 hours a day and over 2,000 patients have been seen since March. McBrien says there’s a lot to work on next year as well.
McBrien also highlighted the continuing work that needs to be done surrounding our First Nations communities with one highlight from this year being the addition of a room at SMGH dedicated to the memory of Dudley George.
