Police say one person is facing charges following a disturbance in Middlesex Centre early Saturday morning.
According to Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police, officers were called to a home in Kilworth shortly after midnight on December 20th, following a report of a disturbance.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old resident of Middlesex Centre has been charged with assault involving a spouse and mischief related to property damage under the Criminal Code.
Police remind the public that the charges have not been proven in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
Police also say support is available for anyone experiencing domestic violence. Victim Services of Middlesex-London offers help and resources for those in need.
