OLG says the sole winning ticket for last night’s massive $80 million LOTTO MAX jackpot was sold in London, Ontario.
That means someone in the region is starting the new year with an eight-figure win, and it could be closer to home than you think.
The Tuesday, December 30 draw marked the first time the $80 million LOTTO MAX jackpot has ever been won in Ontario. It’s also only the second time since the jackpot increased to $80 million that there has been a single winning ticket nationwide.
In addition to the jackpot win, there were several Maxmillions prizes claimed across Ontario, with multiple million-dollar and six-figure wins.
If you’re holding a ticket from Tuesday night’s draw, now might be the perfect time to double-check because one lucky winner in nearby London is officially ringing in the new year $80 million richer.
