myFM is looking back at the top stories of the year and the people in our community who were making news. Among them, now former Middlesex County Warden Brian Ropp, who’s also Mayor of North Middlesex. We asked Ropp to run down some important events in 2025 for the County.
Ropp says one big change this year was new CAO, Paul Shipway, replacing long-time CAO Bill Rayburn who retired in March. The official plan was a focus as well and they’ll keep working on finalizing that important plan this year, under the guidance of new Warden and Mayor of Adelaide Metcalfe Sue Clarke.
Ropp thanked former CAO Rayburn for his extraordinary leadership, vision, and commitment over 26 years with the County.
