It’s Volunteer Week brought to you by the Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc and today, we learn more from Amiee Bloemendahl, a business owner and member of the Mount Brydges Business Association.
Bloemendahl started volunteering at the Strathroy hospital at age 14 and loved it…so she keeps it up to this day.
She is also on the Del-ko Brydge Soccer Association, is a competitive soccer coach and is Treasurer for the Del-ko Brydge Canada Day committee.
Bloemendahl says as a business owner, she likes to give back to the community that gives her so much support.
She adds without volunteers, a lot of the events in our community wouldn’t happen, calling them the backbone of the community.
