For well over a year now, people have been collecting pop tabs to help raise money for the new MRI machine at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. It’s a project that’s near and dear to organizer Gord Robbins’ heart. He stops into the myFM studio every now and then to update us about how things are going. Here’s the latest info Gord had for us about their very well used collection buckets.
Robbins says they have a unique way to determine that 8 million.
There’s been a bit of a lull in collections through the winter months but they keep collecting.
And that number will be 2,000 soon, according to Gord. He has this advice for anyone wanting to help.
You can also pop into the myFM studios on Zimmerman Street to say hi and drop off some tabs.
