Playoff hockey is heating up across the region, with several local teams making strong runs this season.
The Strathroy Jets, Mount Brydges Bulldogs, and North Middlesex Stars have all advanced to the second round of their playoffs. Meanwhile, the Strathroy Rockets have already secured their place in the Greater Ontario Hockey League postseason once the regular season comes to an end.
For the Jets, the next series will bring a familiar and exciting matchup. The team is set to face the Alvinston Killer Bees in a rematch of last year’s thrilling playoff battle that had fans on the edge of their seats.
The Jets return to action on Saturday when they travel to Alvinston for Game 1 at 6:45 p.m. The series will then shift back to Strathroy, with the Jets hosting the Killer Bees at the Gemini Sportsplex on March 12th.
