The Thames Valley District School Board, in collaboration with the Municipality of North Middlesex, is pleased to present the 4th Annual Ticket to the Trades Career Fair—an engaging and interactive event aimed at encouraging students to explore meaningful opportunities within the skilled trades.
Students from across Middlesex County will have the chance to immerse themselves in the trades through more than 30 dynamic exhibits, along with a variety of hands-on experiences. Popular returning activities include interactive scaffolding and brick masonry demonstrations, where participants can gain practical experience by working alongside industry professionals to build scaffolding and learn the fundamentals of bricklaying.
This event provides both elementary and secondary students with a valuable opportunity to connect directly with local tradespeople and employers, while discovering in-demand career paths and training options available in the skilled trades sector. Secondary students are especially encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, as the event offers excellent opportunities for networking and exploring potential career prospects.
The career fair will take place tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will be hosted at North Middlesex District High School and the North Middlesex Community Centre.
