They call themselves the Strathroy Feline Network, and they help cats, dozens of feral cats from an abandoned home on Canaan Street. Recently, we talked with member Patti Jordan, who along with about 15 others, have started trapping and caring for the cats and kittens.
When speaking with myFM, Jordan said the project started back in December.
Patti says they’ve caught 19 so far and figure there are about 9 more that need to catch.
We asked Patti how they make sure these cats don’t have homes.
Patti says they get calls from others looking for help trapping cats or just re-homing them and they expect their work to continue once all the Canaan Street cats have been helped.
