Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is reminding families to be aware of safety concerns tied to the popular “Senior Assassin” game.
The game, often played by high school students, involves using water guns to “eliminate” other players in the community. While it is meant to be fun, police say it can sometimes be mistaken for a real threat, which may lead to 911 calls and emergency responses.
Officers are asking parents and guardians to speak with their teens about making safe and responsible choices while taking part.
Police also stress that the game should not be played during school hours or on school property. They say they support local students staying active and having fun, but it should be done in a safe and respectful way in public spaces.
