Two people are facing charges after a domestic disturbance in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex. Middlesex County OPP say officers were called to a home in Glencoe around 11:25 p.m. on April 26th for a report of a disturbance.
After investigating, police arrested two individuals and took them to the Middlesex OPP detachment. A 28-year-old from Southwest Middlesex has been charged with assault causing bodily harm by choking, suffocating, or strangling.
A 26-year-old from the same area is facing several charges, including assault with a weapon involving a partner, additional assault with a weapon charges, mischief for damaging property, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Both individuals have since been released and are scheduled to appear in court in London at a later date. Police remind residents that help is available for anyone experiencing domestic violence, and support services can be accessed through local organizations such as Victim Services of Middlesex-London.
