National Police Week runs May 10th to the 16th this year, and has been recognized across Canada since 1970 as a way to build stronger relationships between police services and the communities they serve, while also highlighting the important role of policing and public safety. Led nationally by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, the annual campaign promotes community engagement and recognizes the dedication and professionalism of law enforcement personnel.
This year’s theme, “Protecting Ontario Through Service,” honours the commitment, compassion, and leadership demonstrated by officers and civilian members each and every day. Strathroy-Caradoc Police extends its sincere appreciation to all sworn officers and civilian staff for their continued service, hard work, and dedication to keeping our community safe.
