Canada’s Snowbirds will soon be grounded. The Department of National Defence announced earlier today (Tuesday) that this will be the last season for the iconic acrobatic flying unit until the early 2030s. The plan is to replace the aging fleet of CT-114 Tutor Jets with new CT-157 Siskin II aircrafts. The new unit will be based at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
