Medical students from the Schulich School of Medicine at Western are in our community this week learning what it’s like to work in a rural healthcare setting.
The annual program sees first-year med students shadowing healthcare professionals, learning about rural medicine, connecting with local healthcare teams and experiencing life in our community.
The students started the program on Monday and it wraps up Thursday.
