OPP are investigating a trailer theft in Watford reported on May 23, 2026. Police tell myFM, the investigation determined that between 9:50 p.m. on May 22, 2026, and 11:00 p.m. on May 23, 2026, unknown individual(s) went to a commercial property on Industrial Road and gained entry to a utility trailer by cutting the lock. Multiple cordless power tools and pieces of equipment, primarily Hilti and Milwaukee brand tools, were stolen from the trailer. The estimated value of the stolen property exceeds $40,000. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the OPP.
