You can bring your used tires to the transfer station again in Strathroy.
Municipal staff report they have cleared the majority of tires and the dump is again accepting them for recycling.
The transfer station out on Pike Road hasn’t been accepting tires for weeks now, as the storage area was at capacity.
The town said the challenges were linked to changes in provincial recycling requirements and industry-wide processing and cost pressures.
