If you see fire trucks and emergency crews at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital tonight, don’t be alarmed. The hospital is conducting a planned emergency training exercise beginning at 7 p.m. in partnership with the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department. The drill is designed to help staff practice emergency response procedures, including the safe care and evacuation of patients if a real emergency were to occur. Hospital officials say the increased emergency vehicle presence is part of the exercise and there is no danger to the public.
