Whether it’s catching a game at a local bar or restaurant, with some friends at home, or even on the big screen outside like we’ll see at the Portuguese Club tomorrow evening, soccer fans across the region are loving the World Cup.
One person watching the games even closer than most is Elizabeth Miller from Lambeth, who reached out to myFM to let us know her grandson Liam plays for Canada.
She never misses a game.
Elizabeth says her 3 brothers, her daughter and all her grandchildren have played or currently play soccer and while she loves all sports, it’s the one closest to her heart.
Canada’s next game is Sunday, against South Africa at 3pm.
