A Petrolia man is facing several charges following a single-vehicle collision in Brooke-Alvinston.
Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police were called to a crash on Petrolia Line near Nauvoo Road shortly after 9 p.m. on July 12th.
Following an investigation, a 38-year-old of Petrolia, was charged with impaired operation by alcohol and drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of a Schedule I substance, failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and having cannabis readily available in a vehicle.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
OPP is reminding residents that if they suspect an impaired driver, they should contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
