It’s a first in over 20 years in Parkhill.
A new federally inspected meat processing facility has just opened its doors, the first in Ontario in two decades.
Blue Lakes Premium Meats, which began as Parkhill Meats, had its official grand opening earlier this week and is being called a significant milestone for the province’s agriculture sector.
The facility processes Ontario-raised beef and lamb.
