The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc has received a $25,000 Ontario Seniors Community Grant to launch its new Active Days program. Scheduled to begin in late September 2026, the program will feature physical, creative, social and culinary activities aimed at supporting the physical, cognitive and emotional well-being of older adults. Most programming will be held at the Caradoc Community Centre and is expected to serve between 750 and 1,500 seniors each week. Municipal officials say the provincial funding will help create more opportunities for seniors to stay active, healthy and socially connected.
