As a result of the collision, the lone occupant, a 21-year-old individual from Newbury was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Emergency crews are responding to a serious single-vehicle crash near Alvinston.
Courtright Line is closed between Old Walnut Road and River Road, and Nauvoo Road is closed between Millpond Avenue and Oil Spring Line.
Police say the crash involved one passenger vehicle. The extent of injuries is still being assessed.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. The roads are expected to remain closed for an extended period while police investigate and crews clear the scene.
