Warwick Township is creating a new Sports Wall of Fame to celebrate the people and teams who have helped build the community’s strong sports tradition.
The new wall will be located at the East Lambton Community Complex following the recent renovation of the Watford Arena. It will honour athletes, teams, and community members who have made a lasting impact on local sports and recreation.
The Sports Wall of Fame will include three categories: Athletes, Teams, and Community Builders. Community Builders are people who have supported local sports through leadership, volunteer work, and other important contributions.
The wall will also recognize local championship teams that have won tournaments and other major competitions, celebrating the community’s many sporting successes.
