Middlesex County Library branches are collecting new school supplies to help local students get ready for the new school year.
Donations can be dropped off at any Middlesex County Library branch until Friday, August 7th as part of the Best First Day school supplies drive.
The supplies will be given to students in need through the Thames Valley Education Foundation.
The library is looking for new items such as backpacks, lunch bags, notebooks, pencils, pencil cases, reusable water bottles, binders, lined paper, pens, highlighters, and locker locks.
Parents or guardians who need help getting school supplies for their child are encouraged to contact their child’s school principal.
