Kevin Morrison – a former mayor of Goderich is running for councillor in Ward 1 in Strathroy-Caradoc. Morrison cites his political and business experience as assets that will enable him to help Strathroy as the municipality continues to grow.
As a follower of how Strathroy – Caradoc council operates Morrison says the current council and town staff has gelled well but there’s always room for improvement.
Asked why with his mayoral experience he’s running for the Ward 1 councillor position, Morrison says the current mayor and deputy mayor are doing a good job.
Morrison says his municipal election campaign platform focuses a lot on good fiscal management.
Even though he would represent Ward 1 if elected, Morrison says rural issues are on his radar because that’s where he grew up.
