A 51-year-old Komoka resident is facing several charges following a single-vehicle collision on Woods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.
Middlesex OPP say the driver was placed under arrest following the collision and transported to the Middlesex County OPP Detachment.
The driver has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, careless driving, driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available and driving with an open container of liquor.
The driver is also facing a charge for failing to have an insurance card.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on October 21st to answer to the charges.
