Middlesex County OPP have charged a 21-year-old St. Thomas resident with impaired driving following a complaint about a possible impaired driver in Southwest Middlesex.
Police were called to an address on Switzer Drive in Southwest Middlesex at approximately 1:07 a.m. on September 26, 2026, after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver.
Officers located the vehicle at the address and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
The 21-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 or more.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on October 26, 2026, to answer to the charges.
