Strathroy-Caradoc’s Police Chief knows there are a lot of questions in the community regarding e-scooters, including why we’re not seeing charges laid against those riding them, when they are illegal in this community. myFM sat down with Chief Mark Campbell to get some answers, including to that very question.
Chief Campbell says they have been getting a lot of feedback about e-scooters.
When it comes to laying charges, Chief Campbell explains in detail why that’s not usually the first course of action for them.
It would ultimately be up to town council to allow e-scooters in Strathroy-Caradoc and Chief Campbell says he’s been invited to speak before council later this month about the issue.
