myFM got a tour of Strathroy-Caradoc’s new Customer Service Centre at 137 Frank Street Monday, on its opening day. The renovated and modern facility in what used to be the old Senior’s Centre will provide residents with a wide range of municipal services, according to Interim CAO Rob Browning.
Browning says some of the other perks of the new location include an accessible entrance, several meeting rooms and much more parking. And the reno came in close to 50-thousand dollars under budget, around 450-thousand dollars.
That’s not lost on our interim CAO, who says it’s part of the success story in giving this facility new life.
Browning tells us what comes next in Phase 2 at 137 Frank.
Later this week, we’ll tell you about the expanded hours for the new Customer Service Centre.
