The province's annual list of public sector workers who are paid more than 100,000 dollars is now available. The sunshine list includes doctors employed by hospitals, nurses, teachers, police and firefighters, in addition to civil servants.

Financial support is pouring in for a Strathroy family who lost everything in a house fire late Sunday evening between Centre Street and Front Street. Thankfully nobody was home or injured in the blaze but now the Garton's are living with family members.

BLUEGRASS SHOW COMING TO PURPLE HILL SUNDAY

WANTED MAN CHARGED

A wanted man has been charged after Strathroy-Caradoc Police saw him riding in the passenger seat of a moving car. Police strategically stopped the car at Colborne and Metcalfe Street in Strathroy and they found he was carrying a large amount of drugs including marijuana, morphine and codeine.

MT BRYDGES GUN SHOW RETURNS SUNDAY AFTER A DECADE AWAY

Coming up this Sunday an event in Mt. Brydges returns after almost a decade away catering to the local hunter enthusiast. It's the Mt. Brydges Gun Show happening at the village community centre and organizer Derek Clark says the public feedback helped his decision to resurrect the event.

STRATHROY POLICE TALK ON SHATTER DRUG

Police say a relatively new drug discovered in Stratford has not yet made it's way to Strathroy. The drug is manufactured and poses the same risks as the clandestine labs that have been seen in the past. The risks are mainly due to the flammable liquids being used like ethanol and propyl alcohol.

MILNER STREET FIRE

Strathroy-Caradoc firefighters responded to the 2nd fire in 3 days on Tuesday evening. Fire Chief Brian George says what was assumed to be a small fire near electrical outlets quickly grew up the walls of a home on Milner Street in Strathroy.
