The Strathroy Lions Club has made a proposal to council about building an amphitheater in Alexandra Park. Municipal CAO Ralph Coe thinks council was excited to see the Lions proposing this. Coe says council would like to support it, but they need to be part of the approval process.

Tourism Middlesex, Creative Communities and Jonah and Associates will get the gears in motion for the Barn Quilt Trial to expand across Ontario, as the project officially received a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation Wednesday.

For anyone who receives water from the Glencoe Reservoir, there's a public meeting tonight at the Glencoe Arena Auditorium from 6 until 8pm about your water system. The areas that may be affected by this is all Southwest Middlesex customers, Newbury, Bothwell, Strathroy-Caradoc and West Elgin.
