The Canadian dollar has lost more ground following yesterday's announcement from the Federal Reserve. It gave markets the impression that the U-S central bank will start hiking rates in a few months. The loonie lost 57-100ths of a cent on the day to close at 79.3 cents U-S.

The numbers are in and the Bell Canada Let's Talk Day has surpassed the amount raised in 2014. Reports say the event raised $6,107,538.60 for mental health programs and research in Canada.

Strathroy's Zach Herreweyers who is currently on a Lacrosse Scholarship at Loyola-Maryland was honored recently at the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League?s awards banquet by being named to the 2nd team All-Star roster as a forward and winning the Jack Bionda Memorial Award.

Middlesex County OPP are currently investigating a robbery at the Komoka Pharmacy on Glendon Drive, Middlesex Centre. On Wednesdya evening at approximately 5:25 p.m. a lone man entered the pharmacy and made demands to a pharmacy employee.
